Hanoi – Sapa

Sa Pa District is located in Lao Cai Province, 350 km north-west of Hanoi, close to the border with China. Sapa is famous both for its fine, rugged scenery and for its rich cultural diversity. French used to consider Sapa as Summer Capital of Northern Vietnam in the early decades of the 20th century. Its naturally gifted beauty keeps attracting more and more people to spend their vacation there since then.

Day 1: HANOI – LAO CAI

Transfer to the train station and board the train to Lao Cai at 10 p.m (35km from Sapa). Overnight on board with air conditioning.

Day 2: LAO CAI – BAC HA – SAPA

Arrive in Mai Chau early in the morning. A light breakfast will be served early as we resume and you will hace a bath at a hotel near the station (4 people per room). Depart for Bac Ha, stopping en route to visit the local market according to  the day of week (Tuesday: Coc Ly market, Wednesday: Sin Chen market, Thursday: Lung Khau Nhin market, Saturday: Can Cau market and Sunday: Bac Ha or Muong Khuong market). Luch at a local restaurant, then transfert to Sapa. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: SAPA – LAO CAI – HANOI

After breakfast, Visit Sapa market, where members of the Red Dzao, Black H’mong and Kinh communities sell their products. Transfer by car towards Lao Chai Village of Black H’mong ethnic group. Later we will take a trek to the village of Ta Van (Dzay ethnic) through the magnificent Muong Hoa valley. Lunch at an ethnic minority home. The trek will continue to the car parking. Return to Lao Cai late in the afternoon.Dinner in a restaurant near the train station and board the train to Hanoi. We will overnight on board as well

Day 4: HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning and transfert to your hotel. End of our services.
